Fans Surprised To See Current AEW Star In The Crowd At WWE Pay-Per-View

Except for highly trained athletes who weren’t able to succeed in the sport of their choice, most pro wrestlers grew up as fans. This has, therefore, seen multiple huge names spotted in crowds via archived footage, such as Edge at Wrestlemania 6, Kevin Owens at ECW One Night Stand 2006, and arguably most famously, Mick Foley at a Madison Square Garden show watching Jimmy Snuka dive off a steel cage.

And now, via a screenshot that has gone viral on X , fans are finding out that a very young Jack Perry of AEW was in attendance for WWE’s 2015 Hell In A Cell pay-per-view at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

27-year-old Perry, who is the son of deceased “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Luke Perry, wrestled his first professional match just a month after Hell In A Cell under the name Nate Coy. And while at the time, it’s almost certain his goal was to one day work for WWE, he has still managed to become a prominent name in the business without working for the company, thanks to AEW. However, his infamous backstage altercation with CM Punk at last year’s All In is likely what most fans think about when they hear his name, rather than just his ring work.
