Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars are off to a brutal start in their 2024 NFL campaign.

With a 20-24 loss at the hands of the division-rival Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon, the Jaguars dropped to 0-4 to start the year — extending a five-game losing streak dating back to Week 18 in 2023.

Lawrence has now lost nine straight games as the Jaguars' starting quarterback. The team's only win since November 26, 2023 came with C.J. Beathard as quarterback in Week 17.

Lawrence put up his best stat line of the season in Sunday's loss to the Texans, but it wasn't enough to lead the Jaguars to their first win. The former No. 1 overall pick recorded 169 yards and two touchdowns on 18/33 passing.

After this 0-4 start, pressure for head coach Doug Pederson and the Jaguars organization to make a change at the quarterback position is quickly growing.

"I have officially given up on Trevor Lawrence, bench him and fire the coaches," one fan wrote.

"Bench Trevor Lawrence. He needs a lesson learned," another said.

"Jaguars need to start Mac jones," another added.

Lawrence and the Jaguars will look to notch their first win of the 2024 season in next Sunday's Week 5 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
