The Cleveland Browns have fallen to 1-3 on the season as they were defeated 20-16 by the Las Vegas Raiders.

After it was the Browns who started the game fast scoring on their first two drives . However, to start the second half it was the Raiders early. After receiving the opening kickoff of the third quarter, the Raiders took the lead with a 34-yard field goal from Daniel Carlson which capped off an eight-play, 55-yard drive.

The Raiders added to it on their next drive, following a Browns turnover as Watson's pass intended for Amari Cooper was tipped into the air before being picked off, this time though it was a touchdown. D.J. Turner took a jet sweep 18 yards to the endzone, giving them 20 unanswered points and a 10-point lead over the Browns.

Then following another Browns punt, and the Raiders threatening to make it a three-score game, a Zamir White run not only went for a three-yard loss but ended in a fumble returned for a touchdown by Cleveland safety Rodney McLeod.

The 25-yard return from McLeod ended Las Vegas's 20-0 run that saw them establish what once was a 10-point lead.

Following a Raiders punt it seemed like the momentum had truly turned in the Browns favor, as an under pressure Watson found his star receiver Amari Cooper downfield for what would have been an 82-yard touchdown pass if not for a costly holding penalty.

So, instead of a lead changing highlight touchdown pass the Browns offense left the field empty handed as Watson's third-down pass to Jerry Jeudy was broken up.

Then following three drives that all ended punts, the game came down to a fourth-and-three for the Browns as they reached the Raiders' nine-yard-line. Needing a first down to keep the game alive, Watson was sacked, securing the Raiders a four-point win.
