It appears that Jayden Daniels is indeed him.

The Washington Commanders rookie quarterback was at it again during Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals. Daniels made it look easy out there, completing 26/30 pass attempts and logging both a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown as Washington cruised to a 42-14 win. Though one of Daniels’ incompletions was admittedly an interception, his superb Week 4 continued on what has been a pristine start to his rookie season.

As the game went final, the FOX broadcast aired a wild statistic about Daniels. The 23-year-old now owns the highest completion percentage of any quarterback through his first four career games (with a minimum of 75 total pass attempts). Daniels’ 82.1 percent surpasses even the mark that Tom Brady began his career with back in 2000-01 (79.2).

The former LSU Heisman Trophy winner Daniels is not just checking it down either and has flashed some nice deep shots in the early going. On top of that, Daniels has displayed fantastic athleticism outside of the pocket , and it is clear that the now 3-1 Commanders have gotten themselves a good one.
