My kids are absolutely obsessed with whipped cream , and who can blame them? The sweet, creamy topping is great for just about anything, but I don't always remember to buy some when I'm at the grocery store . I've contemplated making it at home , but who has time? I decided to try to find a method to make sweet, creamy whipped topping for our pancakes and started with one of my favorite content creators—and she came through!

TikTok creator @dzunglewis (who goes by Honeysuckle) tested a shaker bottle from Amazon and used it to make whipped cream. My husband has several of these that he uses for making post- workout drinks, but I'd never considered making whipped cream in one of the bottles.

How Do You Make Whipped Cream in a Blender Bottle?

She added cold whipping cream, sugar and vanilla extract to the bottle, dropped in the blending ball, screwed on the lid and began shaking it all around. And shaking. And shaking.

"I mean, if this isn't like a Shake Weight or something," she says as she shakes it. It does look like a good arm workout! Once she couldn't hear the ball rattling in the bottle, she took the lid off to see if her whipped cream was ready. It was thick and smooth and she said it tasted great.

I have used my husband's shaker bottles to make smoothie drinks with milk and protein powder, and most of the people in the comments said that these shaker bottles are supposed to be used to mix up protein drinks.

Using one to make homemade whipped cream isn't something I have done, so this was an interesting and informational video for me, and I wasn't alone.

"I've owned this bottle for years and never imagined using for whipped cream," someone commented on the video.

"I use this for milkshakes," another person said. If it can be used for milkshakes, it definitely can be used to make whipped cream!

Honeysuckle gave this method an 8/10, but she also noted that it would probably have a better consistency if she were able to shake it more. I can't wait to give it a try. Maybe I'll have my kids help with the shaking!
