The Green Bay Packers will most likely be without Christian Watson for the next few weeks. The wide receiver suffered an ankle injury during the 31-29 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, and the initial diagnosis indicates a high-ankle sprain, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, from Bleacher Report.

Watson will go through more exams early this week to make sure the type of injury it is.

Usually, high-ankle sprains make NFL players miss something around two weeks. However, it might take up to six weeks for the ankle to fully heal.

Christian Watson got injured during the first of three Jordan Love's interceptions on Sunday. Without Watson, the Packers will have Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, and Dontayvion Wicks as their starting wide receivers.

Bo Melton and Malik Heath are also part of the active 53-man roster. Green Bay still has Julian Hicks, Cornelius Johnson, and TJ Luther at the position on the practice squad.

Watson was a second-round pick in 2022. Since then, he has been a dangerous deep threat and an efficient red zone target. However, injuries have affected his consistency. Over his first two years, Watson handled multiple hamstring injuries, and now, it's another unlucky break with an ankle issue.

Over the next two weeks, the Packers will face the Los Angeles Rams and the Arizona Cardinals.
