The NFL Officially Announced It's New 'Jayden Daniels Era'

The NFL is officially announcing that the Jayden Daniels era is officially starting for the Washington Commanders, as the rookie quarterback quickly takes over the league.

After yet another impressive performance on Sunday, this time in a blowout victory over the Arizona Cardinals, the NFL made a major statement on their social media account to celebrate the rookie and his achievements.

That statement? Daniels is now the official header of the NFL's account on X/Twitter.

The change is justified, as Daniels threw for 233 yards and a touchdown on an astounding 26-for-33 attempts, completing 86.6% of his passes. So far this season, Daniels has thrown for 897 yards and three touchdowns, and he leads all quarterbacks in completion percentage.

It was less than a week ago that Daniels — the former Heisman Trophy winner at LSU and No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 — had his coming out party for the Commanders in a Monday Night Football win against the Cincinnati Bengals. In that game, Daniels had 254 yards and 2 touchdowns, with a beautiful 27-yard TD pass going to Terry McLaurin to win the game late in the fourth quarter.

While Washington fans are over the moon that they have one of the best quarterback in the NFL at long last, it's been fun to see the Daniels hype take over the league in the last couple of weeks.

The NFL putting him as their header on social media says a lot. That Twitter account has changed headers a number of times over the years, with pictures of Taylor Swift being among the most popular.

But now it is Daniels who is stealing the spotlight and demanding attention, and it doesn't seem like that will change any time soon.
