Former 1st-Round NFL QB Bust is Trending After 'Disrespect' on Sunday Night Football

Every now and then, NFL fans will have a random player come across their minds, leading them to look up what they are up to these days.
During the "Sunday Night Football" meeting between the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens, the broadcast reminded just about every NFL fan of a quarterback who never was.
While discussing the matter of how impressive the quarterbacks from the 2018 NFL draft class have been this season, NBC included a graphic highlighting the five quarterbacks taken. Baker Mayfield has revived his career in Tampa Bay; Sam Darnold is an MVP contender after saving his career in Minnesota; Josh Allen is consistently in MVP discussions; Lamar Jackson has won two MVPs.
However, the other quarterback taken is the one that many fans may have forgotten. This, of course, is former UCLA star and Arizona Cardinals No. 10 overall pick Josh Rosen. While the graphic highlighted his peers, it displayed that he hadn't played in the league since 2021 and is currently in business school at Penn.
A random fact that many fans viewed as "disrespectful" and as an unnecessary stray shot during the Ravens' 35-10 win.
"I can't believe they did Josh Rosen like that," added another.
"Just calling him a bum would've been more respectful," commented one user.
While fans did learn that he is attending the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, which is actually named after his great-great-great grandfather, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan, they were also reminded of his tough break in the NFL.
Rosen started 13 games for the Cardinals during his rookie season, accumulating a 3-10 record. That would be his lone season in the desert, as Arizona would hire Kliff Kingsbury to be their next head coach, and he immediately moved on from Rosen.
In the very next draft, the Cardinals drafted Kyler Murray and traded Rosen to the Miami Dolphins as a result of the pick.
He'd then play in just six games for the Dolphins before bouncing around the league over the next couple of years and appearing in his final game with the Atlanta Falcons back in 2021.
While Rosen likely didn't appreciate how he was shouted out, fans did learn he is attending one of the more prestigious universities in the country. For those who were wondering what happened to Rosen, they now know.
