To be listed on the calendar, events must be either free, be operated by a nonprofit, charity, government entity or as a fundraiser.     Soup for the Soul meal

    Every Monday, 3 — 5:30 p.m.

    Soup for the Soul gives out a free meal every Monday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Held in the basement of the Dundalk Church of God, 6 Yorkway in Dundalk. All are welcome.

    Woman’s Club of Dundalk Meetings

    First Wednesday of every month, 6 p.m.

    Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. at local area restaurants. If interested in attending a meeting or learning more about the club, contact Anita Becker at 410-285-7434. The Woman’s Club of Dundalk is a qualified nonprofit charity serving the greater Dundalk community for over 80 years.

    Dundalk Farmers Market

    Every Saturday, 7 a.m. — 12 p.m.

    The Greater Dundalk Chamber of Commerce farmers market begins on June 15 and will run through October. The market will be open every Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon. Interested vendors: Please reach out to ed@gdcoc.org. Leave your contact information such as your name, type of business, e-mail address and phone number. Someone will contact you with more details about the farmers market.

    Optimist Club New Optimist Welcome Dinners

    First Wednesday of the month, 6:30 — 8:30 p.m at the Boulevard Diner.

    The Optimist Club of Dundalk holds monthly dinners for existing and potential members at the Boulevard Diner. Optimist Club board meetings are every second Wednesday of the month, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m at the clubhouse, 4528 North Point Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21219. On the fourth Wednesday of every month, the Optimist Club holds program nights where it invites local organizations to come in and entertain. All are welcome!

    The Woman’s Club of Dundalk Bingo

    Friday, Oct. 4, 6 p.m.

    Come out with family, friends for fun, food, chances to win playing bingo but most of all to support The Woman’s Club of Dundalk. The event is being held at Knights of Columbus, 7401 Bay Front Road in Sparrows Point. Bingo starts at 7 p.m. and a regular bingo packet is $25.     Dundalk Historical Society Annual Fall Flea Market

    Saturday Oct. 5, 8 a.m. — 2 p.m.

    As always, the event is held at Veteran’s Park at the Dundalk Shopping Center. Huge spaces are available for only $10. Payment must be made in advance of the flea market. Stop in at the Dundalk Historical Society to reserve your space, we are open 11 a.m. — 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Contact the Historical Society with questions at 410-284-2331.

    Independent Order of Odd Fellows Crab-tober feast

    Saturday, Oct. 5, 3 — 7 p.m.

    Unlimited steamed crabs, crab dishes and much more! Plus contests, door prizes, games, prize wheels, raffles and lots of other fun surprises! Featuring live performances by Julie Lauren, Brian Peacock Band and DJ Rampage. Menu includes: Freshly steamed crabs, crab soup, crab cakes, crab dip, pulled pork, fried chicken, corn on the cob, coleslaw, garden salad, macaroni and cheese, loaded potato salad, cheddar biscuits, assorted desserts, beer, and soft drinks. $65 per person.     October Old Dundalk/Dunlogan Community Meeting

    Wednesday, Oct. 9, 6:30 p.m.

    The meeting will be attended by Code Enforcement, a group we can call on to keep our community free of junk, tall grass and weeds and vacant buildings. Our group discusses crime and information valuable to the Dunlogan community. New trash cans should be delivered to Old Dundalk and Dunlogan by the end of October.

    Knights of Columbus Fish Fry

    Friday, Oct. 11, 12 — 7 p.m.

    Featuring delicious Alaskan pollock, golden seasoned fries, fresh coleslaw, roll, dessert and beverages at Knights of Columbus, 2111 Eilers Ave. in Dundalk.     Dundalk Historical Society Basket Bingo

    Saturday, Oct. 12, 5 — 8 p.m.

    For the first time ever, the Dundalk Historical Society is hosting a basket bingo at the St. Helena Hall, 6509 Colgate Ave. Doors open at 4 p.m, bingo is from 5 — 8 p.m. $20 for 20 games. Hot dogs, chips, soda, water and baked goods will be available. Contact the Historical Society with questions at 410-284-2331.

    Turner Station Class of 1967 Reunion

    Saturday, Oct. 12, 6 — 10 p.m.

    Meet the group of 75-year-olds that met in first to seventh grades and are still getting together with classmates, family and friends to break bread, shake a leg and have a good time. The 57th Reunion will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 at 5625 O’Donnell St, Baltimore, MD, 21224. A celebration for all classes, all years, all schools! $100 per person. This class graduated from a total of 10 different schools. However, the difficulty and controversy of the time has not stopped us from celebrating what should have been.

    Colgate Rec’s Crab Feast

    Saturday, Oct. 12, 8 p.m. — midnight

    Colgate Rec is holding an all-you-can-eat crab feast and buffet from 8 p.m. to midnight at Rosedale Gardens, 8037 Philadelphia Road, Baltimore, MD, 21237.     Fall Festival 2024

    Saturday, Oct. 19, 12 p.m. — 3 p.m.

    Join us for our annual community fall festival at 7923 Wise Ave in Dundalk! There will be games, pony rides, a petting zoo, music, entertainment, trunk-or-treating, and a lot of candy! All games & inflatables are intended for ages 3-12. Everything is free! We hope to see you and your family!

    Our Lady of Hope/St. Luke School Homecoming 2024

    Welcome alumni, families and friends. Mass at Our Lady of Hope, reception in school hall to follow. Includes tours, silent auction, 50/50, food trucks and performances from current students.

    Fleming Senior Center’s Homecoming Sneaker Ball Cabaret

    Saturday, Oct. 19, doors open at 6 p.m.

    Q: What is a sneaker ball?

    A: A chance to get dressed up in your finest and wear your SNEAKERS. Dress to impress, BYOB and BYOF. Tickets are on sale $25.00 in advance and more at the door.

    Optimist Club of Dundalk 75th Anniversary Celebration

    Bull and Oyster Roast

    At the Knights of Columbus, 2111 Eilers Ave. in Dundalk. Serving pit beef, pit ham, put turkey, raw oysters, oyster stew, cheese, veggie and meat tray caesar salad, pasta salad Italian meatballs, baked ziti, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and mac and cheese.     25th Great Halloween Lantern Parade & Festival

    Saturday, Oct. 26, 4 — 9:30 p.m.

    Celebrate 25 years of monumental lantern-making and spectacle-creating! The communities of Baltimore come together to create The Great Halloween Lantern Parade and Festival in Patterson Park! The afternoon begins with a family festival, featuring an adorable kids costume contest, lantern-making, pop-up performances, an arts & crafts market and more. Grab a picnic blanket for your family and friends and enjoy an array of food and treats from local food trucks. Once the sun sets, the magic begins. We illuminate Patterson Park and parade through the night surrounded by bright and beautiful music. Everyone is welcome to grab a lantern and march with thousands of neighbors, artists, musicians, and performers. Many more line the parade route to watch the delightful Great Halloween Lantern Parade wind through the night!
