It seems to me that teachers are unrelenting in their demands for higher pay and more money. I pay nearly $7000 a year in real estate taxes on a modest home. I pay over 52% of my income in taxes. 75% of my cities tax collection go to schools and we still pay additional for school supplies, buses, extracurricular activities. Plus teacher make in excess of the median salary yet work 60% of everyone else.

Charter schools are the answer, public school is a money sucking drain on society that end up trying to remove any proof they are actually teaching skills to the children.
