'It's a meltdown': Morning Joe shows brutal supercut of Trump's weekend rambling

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough marveled at Donald Trump's weekend-long "meltdown" as Kamala Harris continues to build momentum just weeks ahead of the November election.
The Republican presidential nominee escalated his personal attacks on the vice president by slurring her as "mentally impaired" and saying she should be “impeached and prosecuted" for allegedly allowing an “invasion” at the southern border.
"Five weeks to go until the November election," said "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski. "Former president Donald Trump spent the weekend campaigning in several key battleground states and used extreme and dark rhetoric to attack his opponent, vice president Kamala Harris. [He is] doubling down, if possible."
"We're watching a meltdown," Scarborough added. "I think it's a meltdown . I don't think you call it a double down. I mean, I'll let you say – we can play the clips. Again, even Republicans are attacking him ... you know, quietly, they're getting really worried right now."
"He reiterated his pledge to go after people who cheat in the election," Brzezinski said. "He said one violent day of policing will end crime in America and continued to push misinformation about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, in addition to some very odd tangent tangents, I guess more of the 'weave.' Take a look."
The producers rolled nearly four minutes of video of Trump rambling darkly about crime, election fraud, immigrants and Harris' mental capacity, culminating in a bizarre rant about spotting a fly near his podium.
"'Two years ago, I would not have had a fly up here, but things are changing rapidly,'" Scarborough said, quoting Trump. "I mean, this is – Republicans obviously are concerned about this for good reason. They're talking about how he's doubling down. Of course, they usually whisper, they usually whisper these things. I wrote some of these notes down. She's mentally impaired, he says, to the crowd's applause. Nice crowd. She's mentally disabled, he says, to crowd's applause. Nice crowd. She's a, quote, stupid person. This actually has Republicans doing something Republicans never do."
"The New York Times shows Republicans are actually being critical of Donald Trump," he continued. "Republicans fault Trump over insults to his rival. Front of the national section of the New York Times – this is Larry Hogan, who is running for Senate. 'That's insulting not only to the vice president but to people that actually do have mental disabilities. I've said for years that Trump's divisive rhetoric is something that we can do without.' Lindsey Graham also critical of Donald Trump's statements this weekend. Rep. Tom Emmer, a Minnesota Republican who is helping J.D. Vance for the upcoming debate, tried to distance himself. He said, 'I think we should stick to the issues.' Yet, here he goes."
"If she were so, quote, stupid, if she were, quote, so mentally impaired, why did she destroy him in a debate for 90 minutes, destroy him, and so much so, he refuses to debate her even on Fox News?" Scarborough added. "That's question No. 1. If she had this mental condition from birth, why did he give her thousands of dollars in 2014 for her political campaign when she was running for the United States Senate?"
The Liberal media wishes this would be true. But polls do not vote. Kamala is an empty suit and they simply cannot sell her in all the places that count. Prediction - Kamala wins the popular vote, Trump wins the Electoral College, Kamala as VP presides over the Senate to confirm his election in January.
