It was mostly all bad for the Cleveland Browns throughout their 20-16 Week 4 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders .

After getting out to a 10-0 lead, the Browns Would give up 20 straight points until the scoring was ignited in the third quarter by a defensive play.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah forced Raiders running back Zamir White to fumble and veteran safety Rodney McLeod picked it up and raced 25 yards for a touchdown.

Down 20-10 at the time in the third quarter, it was exactly what the team needed. Up until that point, the Browns’ defense had been playing very poorly and had been gashed all game.

The special thing about it for McLeod is that he gets to score a touchdown. Before the season, McLeod made it known that he would be hanging it up following season No. 13 in the NFL for him. McLeod has spent the last two seasons with the Browns and been a key piece for them over that time past their two starting safeties.

McLeod made one tackle against the Raiders but the touchdown was clearly everything the team needed. The defense did not give up a point after the 11:32 point in the third quarter.

Cleveland’s defense buckled down to allow 268 yards and just 116 of those came through the air. Myles Garrett had a pair of sacks and was the player the Browns needed despite being pretty banged up and fighting through it. Garrett is up to four sacks through four games this season.

While the loss is going to sting and the fanbase is upset, things were not all bad for the Browns. McLeod getting a touchdown in the final season of a long career was one of the few positives.
