Rum Village Park Hosts ‘Fall Family Fun Fair’ to Celebrate 50th Anniversary

SOUTH BEND, IN — On Saturday, October 5, Rum Village Park will welcome the community to its ‘Fall Family Fun Fair’ from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in collaboration with South Bend Venues Parks & Arts.

The event marks the first Fun Fair in six years and coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Rum Village Nature Center. “It’s a great opportunity for families and friends to come together,” said Garry Harrington, Rum Village Manager.

The day will be packed with fall-themed activities, including pumpkin painting, community booths, and a special tree planting ceremony. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy guided hikes that start at the Nature Center, which will be open throughout the event.
