    A 2.7-magnitude earthquake was reported in Idaho on Monday (September 30), according to the United States Geological Survey .

    The earthquake was centered in Bonners Ferry at a depth of 9.1 kilometers (about 5.7 miles). The USGS said it received 10 reports of people having felt the earthquake at the time of publication on Monday.

    The Idaho earthquake was reported days after a 6.3-magnitude earthquake was reported along the island country of Mauritius last Thursday (September 26), according to the United States Geological Survey . The earthquake was centered near the Réunion region at a depth of 10.0 kilometers (about six miles).

    The Mauritius earthquake was reported hours after a 4.0-magnitude earthquake was reported in Canada last Thursday, according to the United States Geological Survey . The earthquake was centered in Saanichton at a depth of 52.0 kilometers (about 32 miles).

    The two earthquakes were reported days after a 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck Romania. The earthquake was centered in Cașoca at a depth of 133.5 kilometers (about 83 miles) on September 16.

    A 5.1-magnitude earthquake was also reported in Texas on September 16, according to the United States Geological Survey . The earthquake was centered in Ackerly at a depth of 8.2 kilometers (about 5.1 miles).

    The Texas earthquake was reported one day after a 3.4-magnitude earthquake was reported in Kansas on September 19, according to the United States Geological Survey . The earthquake was centered in Danville at a depth of 4.9 kilometers (about three miles).

    A 6.3-magnitude earthquake was reported in the Northern Mariana Islands on September 16, according to the United States Geological Survey . The earthquake was centered in Saipan at a depth of 42.9 kilometers (about 26.7 miles).

    The Northern Mariana Islands earthquake was reported days after a 3.4-magnitude earthquake was reported in California on September 13, according to the United States Geological Survey . The earthquake was centered in Malibu at a depth of 10.6 kilometers (about 6.6 miles).
