AES Indiana: “We Anticipate Full Restoration of Power to Be Reached on Tuesday”

INDIANAPOLIS –AES Indiana says they are getting closer to full restoration of power after the weekend storms.

“We’ve restored power to 95% of customers who were impacted by Friday night’s severe weather system,” said Claire Rice with AES Indiana in a Monday morning update.

Several thousand people still didn’t have power in Indianapolis Monday morning.

“We understand you’re frustrated. Going an entire weekend is irritating. We know that it’s inconvenient, but please know that we are continuing to work around the clock to restore power safely and get the lights back on for you,” said Rice.

Rice says AES Indiana expects to have the power fully restored by Tuesday.
