Bay Point street fight leads to 7-month-old infant, man being shot

( KRON ) – A 7-month-old infant and a man were shot following a fight between two groups in Bay Point, according to the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office.

Around 5:47 p.m. on Sunday, the sheriff’s office received calls informing them that shots were fired after a street fight between two groups occurred.

Muir Station deputy sheriffs were dispatched to the scene at the 3600 block of Desanie Circle.

Deputies said, two people were shot: a 7-month-old infant and a man. The infant was grazed by a bullet. Both victims were transported to the hospital.

Despite two suspects being in custody, the case is ongoing.
