I'm 43 years old and have been a Connecticut resident for the majority of my life and I've also been an electrician for the past 25 years. I've applied to places like Collins aerospace that requires government clearance, eversource and several other well-paying jobs and I keep getting denied despite having an impeccable resume and being very good at my skill. I know it's because when these places run my name convictions from 2005-2008 show up and bar me from moving forward. I have also experienced it as far as being discriminated for housing as well, most times you're stuck getting whatever apartment you can because you can't live in the nice places if you have a record.... it should come as no surprise though it taking forever for the state to do anything positive
