I was 13 years old and the first album I purchased was Synchronicity . MTV launched just a few months later and the network put The Police in high rotation. At the time, they were the biggest band in the world. Yep, I had a teenage crush on Sting. insert heart emoji.

Sting is set to perform in downtown Indianapolis this winter alongside another music legend, Billy Joel. The two icons will take the stage at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025. Tickets for this highly anticipated event go on sale to the general public on Friday, Oct. 4, with presale options available for Citi cardmembers starting Monday, Sept. 30.

Sting, known for his work with The Police and as a solo artist, has made a lasting impact on the music world and apparently me too. With The Police , he earned six Grammy Awards and six top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including classics like “Every Breath You Take” and “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic.” His solo career has been equally successful, with 12 Grammy wins and five more top 10 hits, such as “All for Love” and “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free.”
