Three-car rollover crash in Vernon sends three to hospital

Three people were taken to the hospital after a three-car rollover crash in Vernon on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to reports of the crash shortly after 2 p.m. on Route 83 in the area of Loveland Hill Road, according to Lt. Robert Marra of the Vernon Police Department .

Marra said that responding officers found that three vehicles were involved in the rollover crash. A total of three people were taken to area hospitals for injuries not considered life-threatening, according to Marra.

Route 83 was shut down while crews cleaned up the road.

Police are investigating the crash and have not filed any charges, Marra said.
