Vikings HC Kevin O'Connell gives update on health of the team, including T.J. Hockenson

The Minnesota Vikings came out of Sunday's 31-29 win against the Green Bay Packers relatively unscathed. It's the first time this season they came out of a game without an injury and that's a great thing for a team that is 4-0 .
Head coach Kevin O'Connell talked about it during his Monday afternoon press conference and was pretty happy about where things were at.
Kevin O'Connell updates multiple injuries
O'Connell started off by updating us on the status of Ivan Pace Jr.
"Pleased with the fact we came out relatively in good health and hoping to have IP (Ivan Pace) back this week, so he was close to being able to make it, and should progress as the week goes on. But I'll keep you guys posted on that."
T.J. Hockenson and others on injury lists
After week four, the three players the Vikings have on both injured reserve and the physically unable to perform lists can have their practice window activated. O'Connell has talked about the process to bring these players back multiple times over the last couple of weeks.
Being that week four is now in the rearview mirror, he was asked about it again.
"Yeah, we're working through that right now based upon the unique aspect of this week (going to London), and then leading right into the bye week. We'll have some dialog and try to do what's best for both those guys to be in their best positions to maximize that window and when they're available to us, they're going to be available. I'm excited about both those guys. They've been working really hard behind the scenes and, both T.J. and Dalton are here for the plan that we kind of set upon at the end of training camp, knowing right about the time we get them back, it would be a nice boost for our team. So want to give them the ample amount of practice time, because it's one thing to just open a window, but what does that practice look like? And that may be this week, it may not, but we'll, we'll kind of keep you guys posted as we come to a decision on those."
Gabriel Murphy could be out longer
It wasn't just those players that were asked about. Right after talking about Hockenson and Risner, O'Connell was asked about UDFA star edge rusher Gabriel Murphy.
"Yeah, Gabe's are a little bit different of a timetable, probably than those other two guys. But he's, he's progressing along, for sure, and you know, I'll try to give you guys an update when I know a little bit more about that one."
The Vikings are getting healthier right now and it's coming at a great time. They have a bye week after this Sunday's game against the New York Jets which will give them more opportunity to heal up.
