The Detroit Lions made a massive play on defense early against the Seattle Seahawks on "Monday Night Football."

After the Lions went down the field and scored on a David Montgomery touchdown run, the Seahawks proceeded to move the ball 5 plays for 33 yards into Lions territory.

Quarterback Geno Smith completed a 14-yard pass to wide receiver DK Metcalf, who attempted to move the ball up the field, but Lions linebacker Jack Campbell punched the ball out.

Lions cornerback Carleton Davis III picked it up and returned it 49 yards to the Seahawks' 14-yard line.

In what could have resulted in points for Seattle, the Lions offense was able to score three plays later on a three-yard touchdown run to open up the lead to 14-0 at Ford Field.

It's Campbell's first turnover forced in his career. Entering the game, he has 10 solo tackles, 7 assisted tackles, and six stops.

Detroit has been playing aggressive but the Seahawks have been up for the challenge in trying to move the ball down the field on offense.

The Seahawks are riding a six-game winning streak against the Lions into this matchup, dating back to 2012.
