Jared Goff's Wife Posts Strong Message After Lions QB Made NFL History

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff had a perfect night on Monday, as he led his team to a thorough dismantling of the Seattle Seahawks at home to the tune of a 42-29 score.

Goff was at the top of his game against Seattle, finishing with 292 passing yards and two touchdowns while connecting on all of his 18 pass attempts.

According to Field Yates of ESPN , Goff just set a new single-game NFL record for most completed pass attempts without an incompletion.

That perfect night from the former no. 1 overall pick also drew a perfect reaction from Goff's wife, Christen Harper Goff.

“LETS GOOOOOO,” Christen captioned an Instagram Story post that shows an ESPN graphic of Jared and his wild stat line.

Making the evening even more memorable for Jared was the surprising receiving touchdown he recorded off a pass from wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown in the fourth quarter that extended Detroit’s lead to 15 points.

The Lions could not have asked for a much better way to enter a bye in Week 5. After a disappointing Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home, Detroit has now won two games in a row, with its win over the previously undefeated Seahawks serving as a strong message to the rest of the league.

Jared and the Lions will emerge from their bye on Oct. 13 when they take on Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington.
