Don't just THINK, DO! You don't need to form committees for the purpose of forming committees. Understandably it's a huge undertaking but you've had plenty of time to get things organized and at least set up shelter sites with tents and running water and at least Porta potties. I've yet to see any story on what actually IS being done by those municipalities who are lagging behind. And those who claim to have such compassion for homeless people, well, put up or shut up. You who think sleeping in a park or on concrete or benches are so much better than shelters with at least restrooms if nothing else are freaking NUTS. Sleeping at the park is not camping; it's actually where they LIVE. It's a horrible situation for them, as well as for the public. Get involved if you care so much!
