Legendary Model Janice Dickinson Believes Omarosa Was ‘Jealous’ of Her During the Surreal Life

There’s nothing we appreciate more than nearly twenty-year-old beef, and Janice Dickinson isn’t afraid to dig it up. The legendary model recently reflected on her experience shooting The Surreal Life , and she opened up about her feud with Omarosa Manigault .

Back in 2005, the two of them bickered constantly throughout Season 5 of the show. Looking back on it, Janice said there’s only one way to explain Omarosa’s behavior. It’s a little disease called jealousy.

Janice opened up about her feud with Omarosa as part of VICE TV’s Dark Side of Reality TV. The docuseries will air a bunch of reality TV’s dirty laundry , and Us Weekly got a sneak peek ahead of the premiere.

According to Janice, the jealousy stemmed from the fact that she had a glam squad when the rest of the cast didn’t. That’s one of the perks of being a supermodel , but she said it left certain cast members feeling “really disturbed.”

“It’s important for me to maintain a level of what I look like on TV because that is my bread and butter,” Janice explained. “So I had that written into the contract that they were supposed to help me out with hair and makeup.”

Of course, The Surreal Life producers saw this as an opportunity to create drama. They knew that it would make Omarosa upset because everything made her upset. Janice just never talked about the drama until now.

“It was worked into the show that my hair and makeup glam team was going to get underneath Omarosa’s skin,” Janice explained. “I remember her sitting down in my seat and she said, ‘I will be next.’ And I said, ‘No, you are not going to be next. These hair and makeup here are for me so get up.’”

Meanwhile, Omarosa still seemed a little salty about it. She weighed in on the issue in a separate interview. She grumbled, “Janice was the only person who was allowed to have hair and makeup come to the set in the morning.”
