Fashion Island Brings Fashion and Film Together at the 13th Annual StyleWeekOC

Fashion Island has partnered with Newport Beach Film Festival to showcase cinema in addition to fashion at this year’s StyleWeekOC. The five-day event takes place from Oct. 16 through 20 and attendees can experience everything from film screenings and shopping to red carpet events and exclusive celebrity panels. For example, Newport Beach Film Festival will present the Career Achievement Award in Costume Design with Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood on Oct. 20 as well as a discussion about her work. There will also be a costume display from Warner Bros’ “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and Apple TV+’s mini-series Masters of the Air. The day before, bestselling author and “Vanderpump Rules” star Stassi Shroeder will participate in a panel and a book signing for her new book “You Can’t Have It All.”

Don’t miss the various in-store shopping parties from 2 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 19 at stores such as American Vintage, which will have a branded popcorn machine, Good American, which will have a patch party, LSpace for a DJ and libations, Paige for embroidery, Rag & Bone, which will have a fashion illustrator, and Veronica Beard for permanent jewelry. These retailers will also be showcasing their latest styles on models at the Atrium Lawn.

Plus, Orange Coast ’s Style and Home Editor and Podcast Host and Producer Chelsea Raineri will be moderating the Red Carpet Ready Beauty Event on Oct. 18 at 4 p.m. She will be interviewing four guest speakers beauty brands such as Laura Mercier to discuss what’s trending, red carpet essentials, skincare, and more.
