No. 2 Texas will enjoy a bye in Week 6.

The Longhorns have dominated its opponents this season, defeating each by at least 19 points through the first five weeks. Following the week off, Texas will travel to Dallas to face No. 19 Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry.

Although it's a big rivalry matchup, many fans are worried about it being a trap game for the Longhorns as Oklahoma appears to be showcasing several weaknesses and Texas has a massive matchup against No. 5 Georgia the following week.

Early betting odds were released for the Texas-Oklahoma matchup on Tuesday. According to FanDuel , the Longhorns are viewed as a 14.5-point favorite over the Sooners. It marks the largest margin in Texas' favor since 2005.

Texas should enter the matchup looking for revenge after suffering its lone loss to Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl last season, 34-30, with 15 seconds left in the game.

With the College Football Playoff format expanding to 12 teams this season, one or two losses aren't as disastrous as previous years, but Texas needs to prove it can find a way to win consistently over inferiorir opponents even when not playing its best.
