I hope they install a gate to secure the play ground area so children can't wander out to street ,as a grandparent of an autistic child who is 8 I have to follow her around the park every second

Wasn't this playground/park just overhauled within the last 10 years? What about other parks in town? Are they not in need of repair? Seriously, 750,000$..... maybe it's time to spend that money in another area of town.
