Paul Finebaum Reveals College Football Team That's Not Being Taken 'Seriously'

It's common for college football fans to dismiss teams after an early-season loss, but sometimes, those teams can recover and re-enter the College Football Playoff race.

The LSU Tigers could be the team to watch this season. They started the season ranked No. 13, but after a loss to the USC Trojans, many people seemed to give up on them. However, the Tigers have since won four games in a row, three of which were blowouts. The other was a thrilling game where the Tigers came back from being down 17-0 to defeat the South Carolina Gamecocks on the road.

When discussing the Texas A&M Aggies' schedule on the "Paul Finebaum Show," the SEC Network analyst said he thinks LSU isn't being taken as seriously as it should be.

"I think LSU may be a little bit tougher than Missouri," Finebaum said. "People are just not taking LSU seriously."

ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) isn't completely sold on the Tigers just yet. The FPI ranks LSU as the No. 15 team in college football and projects the Tigers to go 8-4. The Tigers are picked No. 7 in the SEC and have a 1.7% chance of winning the conference.

The Tigers' schedule is challenging. They face four currently ranked teams, including a home game against the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide. If the Tigers keep winning and showing improvement, they could be in the thick of the CFP race to end the season.

This from the idiot who said that Kentucky was a one hit wonder after nearly beating Georgia and that they are not to be taken seriously. Ask Ole Miss about that.
