Five men are facing federal drug charges after a drug bust in Wadena County

Five men are facing federal drug charges after a major drug bust in Wadena in north-central Minnesota.

Four arrests have been made and the men are charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine. Bill Rude, 62, and Robert Anderson, 38, both of Wadena have been arrested and charged along with 28-year-old Aaron Heifort of Clitherall, Minnesota and 27-year-old Carlos Valdovinos-Trejo of St. Paul.

A warrant has been issued for the fifth man, 41-year old Jesus Valdovinos of St. Paul.

Paul Jurgens from KFGO in Fargo, North Dakota describes what was seized.

"Investigators seized 25 pounds of methamphetamine, three pounds of cocaine and two and a half pounds of heroin," says Jurgens. "The street value is estimated at $1 million and the U.S. Attorney's office is prosecuting the case."

The drug trafficking investigation was led by the Wadena County Sheriff's Office.
