The Las Vegas Raiders were riding high after a hard-fought 20-16 victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 4, but it all came crashing down on Tuesday after new trade rumors surfaced about wide receiver Davante Adams.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network , Adams informed the Raiders that he would prefer to be traded out of Las Vegas. Rapoport did add in his report that nothing is imminent, but it's something to keep an eye on.

Though Rapoport stated that a trade involving Adams leaving Las Vegas isn't imminent, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the Raiders would consider trading the six-time Pro Bowler for a package that includes a second-round pick and additional compensation.

With Adams' future in Las Vegas murky, let's go over some trade destinations for the All-Pro receiver, as many contenders would send premier assets to the Raiders for one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.

    Davante Adams trade landing spots

    New York Jets

Adams' strong relationship with Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett makes this the most obvious destination.

The 31-year-old had the best seasons of his career with Rodgers and Hackett in Green Bay, and New York has been speculated as a land spot before. Rodgers has also made it quite clear he would like to play with Adams again.

Pairing Adams up with Garrett Wilson would form arguably the best receiving duo in the NFL, while Rodgers may be able to recapture the magic he possessed while playing with the three-time All-Pro receiver in Green Bay.

For the Raiders, acquiring some valuable Day 2 draft picks and a player would be an excellent return for Adams. New York could be desperate to get a deal done, so general manager Tom Telesco could get a nice return.

    Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh is in desperate need of a wide receiver opposite George Pickens, and trading for Adams may be the solution.

Players around the league respect Mike Tomlin and the culture he's built with the Steelers, and that could sway Adams to prefer a trade to Pittsburgh. Though the squad isn't a Super Bowl contender, it's currently 3-1 and would give Adams a better chance to compete in the playoffs than the Raiders can.

    Buffalo Bills

The Bills' receiving corps. is filled with youth and excitement, but the team has championship aspirations and needs a No.1 receiver for Josh Allen.

Buffalo has three Day 2 picks in its arsenal, including two second-round picks. The Bills have the assets to present an enticing offer to the Raiders' front office and can give Adams the chance to win a Super Bowl in the final prime years of his career.

    Green Bay Packers

A reunion in Green Bay with head coach Matt LaFleur shouldn't be ruled out for Adams. Jordan Love has emerged as one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL, and the Packers could use a veteran WR1 in their young receiving corps. Adding to that, Adams has said he is a big fan of Love .

In a trade package, Green Bay will part ways with their 2025 second-round pick and could even add in one of their young receivers with high potential, including Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks or Christian Watson, if he's healthy.
