Travis Kelce got off to an uncharacteristically slow start to his 12th NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs, reeling in just eight catches on 12 targets through the first three games of the year.

Kelce got back to his typical production in Week 4, recording seven catches for 89 yards in the Chiefs' 17-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

CBS broadcasters Tony Romo and Jim Nantz both noted Kelce's improved production after the final whistle blew. In doing so, Nantz sent a strong message to people who criticized Kelce's slow start.

    "Kelce is back," Romo said.

"All the hot takes, you gotta find someone else to troll this week," Nantz replied.

Though some fans criticized Kelce for his lackluster production through the first three weeks of the season, head coach Andy Reid, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Kelce himself never seemed too concerned.

“I mean, the whole Kelce thing in general hasn’t been a worry to me," Mahomes said after Sunday's win over the Chargers. "I know whatever we need, he’s going to make plays. And that's what he did today.”

Kelce and the Chiefs are now 4-0 heading into Week 5's Monday Night Football matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
