A suspect wanted in a Sylvania Township shooting has been arrested in Las Vegas, township police said.

Sean Landis, 53, of Bridgeton, N.J., was wanted in a Sept. 9 shooting on Crossfields Road, Sylvania Township police said in a social media post Tuesday. He was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of felonious assault by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police,

Last month, township officers responded to a 911 call and found two gunshot victims inside a home. While the suspect was described as “a male of unknown race, wearing all dark clothing with his face covered,” police in social media posts told area residents “there is no need to be worried as there is no active threat to the community.”

In Tuesday’s post about the arrest of Mr. Landis, township police said he is a former co-worker of one of the victims.

Authorities plan to extradite Mr. Landis back to Ohio, township police said.
