    PHOTOS: Vehicle catches fire on I-215

    WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah ( ABC4 ) — A southbound vehicle was fully engulfed in flames on I-215 West on Tuesday evening, causing lane closures for about an hour.

    According to officials with the Utah Highway Patrol , the driver of the vehicle that caught fire was alerted to the flames by another motorist. The driver of the flaming car was able to pull over and make it out of the car.

    Officials said the driver had just picked the car up from a body shop before the fire. The two right lanes on I-215 were closed for about an hour, UHP said.
