He was born Paul William Walker IV on September 12, 1973, in Glendale, CA, and he died at only 40 years old on November 30, 2013. This is the story of the iconic actor and how his beloved memory is being kept alive.

    A Closer Look

Paul Walker was the beloved star of the Fast and the Furious movies. Had he lived, Walker would have turned 51 last month.

Instead, his life came to a startling halt when his high-end luxury vehicle burst into flames after crashing in Santa Clarita, California, in November of 2013.

Walker was co-hosting a charity car show through Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW), his non-profit organization, to raise money for the typhoon-affected victims of the Philippines. He got into Porsche, along with his close pal Roger Rodas.

Within a short period, and only a few blocks away, their car crashed and burst into flames, killing both Walker and Rodas instantly.

    His Brother's A Keeper

On October 19, 2024, Cody Walker, Paul's brother, returns to Atlanta to honor his famed sibling with the first FuelFest to come to Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton.

Cody co-founded FuelFest in 2018 in Irvine, California, as a family-friendly car show to raise money for Paul's ROWW foundation, which sends medical professionals, construction workers, and firefighters to hot spots around the world after natural disasters.

ROWW volunteers have been in western North Carolina since last week offering support in the area wherever possible to help with the recovery from Hurricane Helene.
