A semi-tractor rolled over in Otter Tail County on Tuesday after crashing into a ditch, trapping its 73-year-old driver inside.

According to the crash report, deputies were called to Parkers Road south of 108th Street just after 11 a.m. Tuesday, when they found a semi-tractor trailer loaded with gravel flipped onto its side in a ditch.

The driver was traveling northbound on Parkers Road when the passenger side went onto the soft shoulder of the gravel road, causing the semi to veer into the east ditch.

The tractor came to a stop, but it was leaning to the right so much that it rolled over onto its side, trapping the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

He was extricated from the semi and taken to the Douglas County Hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries. His current condition is unknown.
