we got a $500 tax break from the state , we just got out property tax statement which went up $ 500 from the county . we are retired and own our home well not really if we don't pay these taxes they can sell our house to get thier cut. I don't mind paying taxes that are fair and equitable. but it don't add up ? property tax that is calculated by whom ? plus sales tax , plus city tax, gas tax , WTH ?? yet there's a huge tax surplus in the state. the politicians need to get a real program in place. yes on 4 will force a change. or we just pay more next year.
