Megan Moroney To Release Deluxe Version of ‘Am I Okay?,’ Discusses New Songs

On October 4, Megan Moroney is releasing a deluxe version of her hit sophomore album Am I Okay? with three new songs. Recently, she posted about the meanings behind the three bonus tracks, sharing insights with fans into “Break It Right Back,” “Bless Your Heart,” and “I’ll Be Fine.”

Moroney announced the deluxe album, Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine), with a post on Instagram. In the carousel of images, she included handwritten notes about the new songs.

“Break It Right Back,” according to Moroney, is about the love songs that open the album. “The love songs that start the album were short-lived and this song explains why,” she wrote.

Next, “Bless Your Heart” is like “‘I’m Not Pretty’s older sister,” Moroney wrote, referencing a song from her 2023 debut Lucky. She explained that it was “written specifically for the internet (and real life) a–holes we all know and love.”

“I’ll Be Fine” is the subtitle of the deluxe album, and Moroney explained that it relates to the title track of the album. “The 6’2’’ dream and I broke up the day before I sang vocals for the title track,” she wrote. “I remember being in the studio, holding back tears, thinking ‘how am I gonna sing this every night? Should I just trash this song and rename the album?’ I knew everything was gonna be fine but I needed to talk myself into it and that’s what this song is.”

Megan Moroney Announces Am I Okay? Tour

Megan Moroney’s Am I Okay? Tour will kick off in March next year, and she’s planning to hit some “bucket list” venues on her way. On September 10, she announced the tour on social media, writing, “i get to play some of my bucket list venues & it’s going to be a very blue very magical year on the road.”

She continued, “i’m already counting down the days until i get to see your faces & all of your ‘homemade tshirts & homemade signs,’” adding, “i know i’ve said it a lot but thank you for making all of my dreams come true – just over the mooooooon that i get to do this.”

Moroney will be hitting cities all over the U.S. and Canada. She kicks off the tour in Montreal, then heads to Toronto; New York, New York; Huntsville, Alabama; two nights in Nashville, Tennessee; Houston, Texas; Washington, DC; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and many more before closing with two nights in Boston, Massachusetts on August 1 and 2.
