POMEROY — With the regular season winding down, Nelsonville-York continues to take care of business on the court. Winning their sixth straight game, the Buckeyes (16-2, 8-1 Tri-Valley Conference-Ohio) went on the road on Monday night and completely demolished Meigs en route to a three-set sweep.

Holding the Marauders (1-16, 1-7 TVC-Ohio) to 10 or less points in two of the three sets, the Buckeyes walked away with 25-9, 25-12, 25-10 set victories to complete the sweep.

Offensively, it was a quiet night in terms of kills since the team grabbed more than 15 aces in the win. Kyleigh Warren led the charge with eight while Chloee Vohlken and Gianna Dixon pitched in six and four respectively. Megan Booth finished with 21 assists in the win.

Warren tossed seven aces while Delaney Dean was right behind her with six.

Defensively, Dean and Kenzie VanBibber took care of business in the back row with 10 digs apiece. Dixon and Emmie Fowler each blocked two balls at the net as well.
