He's "Still Standing." Sir Elton John has experienced his fair share of health setbacks through the years, and in tear-jerking speech during the New York Film Festival premiere of Elton John: Never Too Late , the music icon opened up about his health issues.

As PEOPLE reports, Elton shared, "To be honest with you, there's not much of me left. I don't have tonsils, adenoids or an appendix. I don't have a prostate." He added, "I don't have a right hip or a left knee or a right knee. In fact, the only thing left to me is my left hip. But I’m still here. And I can't thank you [enough], you’re the people that made me. I want to thank David and Zachary and Elijah for making me the happiest man in the world."

Elton John: Never Too Late is co-directed by Elton and husband David Furnish, and sees the star take a look back on his life, from the early years of his career, to his final concert in North America at Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium. The doc touches upon his journey through overcoming adversity, abuse, and addiction, and shows previously-unseen footage from Elton's personal archives. According to a description of the doc, "It’s a portrait of one of the most celebrated figures in pop music history, and a unique window into his unprecedented rise, near-downfall, and triumphant success."

Fans can catch Elton John: Never Too Late on Disney+ on December 13th

Sorry, but this is attention seeking nonsense. He was a great entertainer, but that curtain has closed. The public doesn't need to know all this stuff.

Well… How about we recognize his incredible talent and music sales across decades. He and Bernie Taupin wrote the songs we love. Amazing performer! We all age.
