    D.C. Everest girls tennis loses road match at Medford

    MEDFORD – The D.C. Everest girls tennis team finished its regular season with a 5-2 loss to Medford on Tuesday at Medford High School.

    Brooklyn Costa won her match at No. 2 singles, and the No. 2 doubles team of Izabel Lezcano and Brynn Kampmann won a three-set match at No. 2 doubles for D.C. Everest’s two victories.

    The Evergreens will compete at the Wisconsin Valley Conference Tournament on Thursday at Wausau East High School.

    1. Audrey Ruesch (M) def. Mila Bublik, 6-1, 6-0; 2. Brooklyn Costa (DC) def. Natalie Pruess, 6-3, 6-4; 3. Makenna Tlusty (M) def. Ruth Xiong, 6-0, 6-1; 4. Emily Kiselicka (M) def. Holly Hahn, 6-1, 6-2.

    Doubles: 1. Indya Mann-Grace Holmes (M) def. Qiarie Burns-Emily Ringwelski, 6-4, 6-4; 2. Izabel Lezcano-Brynn Kampmann (DC) def. Bayley Metz-Lily Holmes, 6-4, 3-6, 10-7; 3. Rachel Daniels-Hannah Dahl (M) def. Shela Lee-Sarah Stolze, 6-1, 6-2.
