This is the first time we're seeing a father/son duo prepare for the NBA season as teammates together. The dynamic has been interesting to watch so far and in a recent interview, Anthony Davis shed some light on what the experience was like from his point of view.

"It's fantastic to be able to be here and witness it. In practice, Bronny hit a three over him today and everybody was talking smack in Bronny's favor," said Anthony Davis via Dave McMenamin . "And LeBron came down and bullied somebody, took it out on I don't know who it was. Bronny then hit another three over Austin [Reaves] and LeBron wanted the ball. Even though they weren't matched up, the competition is there. And that's what we love to see. We all know the historic significance of those two getting to share the court together so we embrace it."

We're getting an increasingly clearer picture of what the process will look like look like to have LeBron and Bronny share the court together this season. Of course, we already know that the two have been trash-talking each other all summer long and now it seems that their Lakers teammates are also joining in on the fun.

Not only are they embracing the historical significance of their most popular duo, but the players are doing everything they can to ensure their success and give them full support both on and off the court. As a 21-year veteran, LeBron has been here before but this is new ground for Bronny and the pressure is high for him to prove his worth.

Coming out of USC this summer, Bronny's measly average of 4.8 points per game did not do much to impress the scouts but with his connections to the league, James was able to secure his draft position to his team of choice: the Lakers .

Ever since it became official, LeBron and have son have been the top story for the Lakers and there are already plans in place for the upcoming season. Coach Redick is set on debuting Bronny in opening week so he can see official action and make history alongside his dad.

After that, James will almost surely see time in the G-League so he can develop his game on the South Bay Lakers. As the 55th overall pick, Bronny's NBA future is still uncertain and he'll need time to find his place before he can become an effective part of the rotation.

The idea is that with enough time and support, Bronny can reach his ultimate potential and sustain a career that extends for the next 10+ years. While James Jr. will never quite be his dad, he can still have success in the league in the right role and in the right situation.

So far, the Lakers have given Bronny everything he needs to thrive and LeBron is making no exceptions for going after his eldest son. Clearly, the faith is strong that Bronny can exceed expectations in the NBA and the good news is that he seems eager to prove himself to the world.
