The pursuit happened shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday on Leeve Road and Military Road and ended on FM 494.

Troopers discovered Morales inside the vehicle with three immigrants who were smuggled into country, according to DPS.

Authorities later determined one of the immigrants was a Honduran man previously deported for an aggravated felony, DPS adds.

Both teens and Morales were transported to the Hidalgo County Jail.

The three immigrants found inside the vehicle were referred to Border Patrol.
