Coming off a disappointing Week 4 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, the Cleveland Browns are looking to turn their season around when they travel to face a young Washington Commanders team in Week 5.

However, following the release of their Wednesday injury report, the team could be missing some crucial starters in the matchup.

Cleveland had eight players miss practice on Wednesday, including three offensive linemen. Starting tackles Jedrick Wills and Jack Conklin both did not practice after being inactive against Las Vegas. If neither of them practice before Sunday, they will almost certainly be held out again.

Starting center Ethan Pocic, who suffered an ankle injury late in the game on Sunday, also missed practice on Wednesday. His status for Sunday is currently uncertain after coach Kevin Stefanski claimed he was day-to-day.

However, the most concerning player on the report was superstar Myles Garrett who is being listed with an achilles injury after previously suffering a foot injury. Although Garrett has played through injuries in both of his feet already this season, an additional injury could be cause for concern as the team wants to preserve the health of the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.

In positive news, tight end David Njoku once again practiced in a limited capacity, signaling he could be available to play on Sunday for the first time since Week 1.

Star running back Nick Chubb also returned to practice for the first time since 2023, and while he likely won't play on Sunday, it shows that he is trending in the right direction for the coming weeks.
