On Oct. 2 and 3, two workshops are scheduled to discuss and refine brewing plans to reduce disturbances created by airplanes arriving and departing from the Sonoma County Airport.

To learn more about problems and possible solutions, KRCB News reached out to Jon Stout, manager of Charles Schulz-STS.

Stout told KRCB's Marc Albert that a recent initiative by the Federal Aviation Administration, intended to increase safety by further separating approach paths to different airports, has made the roar of jets more noticeable in some places. Officials say they are fairly confident they can find an amenable solution.

Most of the land around the airport, the landowners have, in the past, granted the government "avigation easements" and current landowners can't complain about aircraft flying over them. I know as I was a title officer who examined much property around the airport. But unless the title company missed the easements the owners title policies should show them.
