    Annex, Federal Courthouse Closed; County Courthouse Open

    The Greene County Courthouse Annex and all offices and departments will be closed Thursday and Friday due to the current water outage, county Mayor Kevin Morrison said in a news release.

    The Greene County Main Courthouse will be open Thursday and Friday “on a very limited basis every day for the purpose of arraignments and limited hearings and case management as directed by the courts,” according to a statement.

    Staff restrooms “will be very limited and public restrooms will be unavailable,” according to the statement.

    The Greene County Clerk’s Office in the Courthouse Annex will be closed Saturday.

    The James H. Quillen U.S. Courthouse in Greeneville will remained closed Thursday and Friday. A standing order by the court issued Wednesday notes the federal courthouse will remain closed until further notice due to of the utilities outage.
