Shedeur Sanders Hits Cam Newton With 'Weird' Admission

The Colorado Buffaloes are never short of making headlines. In Week 5, the Buffs got a statement Big 12 win at UCF, 48-21.

Shedeur Sanders threw for 290 yards with three touchdowns and an interception, and Travis Hunter again dazzled with nine catches for 89 yards and a score.

However, a pregame moment was caught on camera that caught plenty of waves around the internet.

Prior to kickoff, a video surfaced of Sanders walking on the field and Cam Newton coming up to him while they exchanged some interesting dialogue with one another.

Sanders looked at Newton and said, "You be on that weird s***, bruh."

Sanders added, "You know what you did, bruh. We gonna talk, we gonna talk. "

Newton replied, "Why not talk now?"

And Sanders ended it with, "There's too many cameras."

Newton was seen walking away after uttering, "Oh say less."

All in all, it was quite the exchange between the two.

Sanders was getting ready for the game but seemed to make it clear about his feelings for the former Auburn star quarterback. A longer exchange can be seen here , but Newton has certainly become a popular presence as a sports personality after retiring from the NFL.

In April of 2024, Newton got honest about Sanders, and he made a strong claim .

"But I don’t think he’ll be a top-four pick as he was on record as saying," Newton said.

Cameras then caught an encounter between Deion Sanders and Newton, although it is not certain what they said to each other.

It will be worth monitoring to see if Newton visits the Buffs for another game and tries to have another pregame meeting with Shedeur Sanders.

Colorado has a Week 6 bye before facing Kansas State in Boulder on October 12.
