Who won't be at the Purdue-Wisconsin game on Saturday in Madison? That would be Graham Harrell, who was fired this week as Purdue's offensive coordinator. Tribune News Service

Greetings from "Can't Wait For Saturday," your morning morsel of college football, courtesy of longtime Illini beat writer, AP Top 25 voter and Heisman state rep Bob Asmussen. He'll give you his views each day on the game he loves

    ***

Wonder who Doris Gebauer is going to pick this week? And who does she like in the fifth race at Belmont?

For the second week in a row, the Urbana resident, Illinois alum and football season-ticket holder won the CWFS prediction contest. She was closest to the actual score for Penn State's 21-7 win against Illinois on Saturday, missing by 20 points.

It wasn't as on-target as her four-point miss on the Illinois-Nebraska game, but a win is a win is a win.

The question: Can Doris take three in a row?

Well, it gets a bit tricky because Illinois doesn't play this week. So, I've decided to ask you to predict the score of another game. Since Purdue is the next Illinois opponent, I want you you to predict the score of the Boilermakers game at Wisconsin on Saturday (noon on BTN). Same setup as always. Send your score prediction to asmussen@news-gazette.com. If you want to make my task easier, please put the score in the subject line. Include your name, where you live and if you are an Illinois alum. Any other comments are appreciated too, though if you tell me this is a bad idea, I might be offended. Actually, probably not.

Fair warning: Illinois has a second open week later in the season and I'm planning to do another substitute game. If you have any suggestions for what game, I am all ears.

This week, even though you are not picking the Illinois game, the reward is the same. Nail the final score on the button and a $50 gift card to Papa Del's is coming your way.

I will put my Purdue-Wisconsin prediction in this space on Saturday.

BTW, thanks for all your entries. The numbers seem to climb each week. It is great to get your input.

Good luck, Boiler Up and On Wisconsin. Sorry, that felt kind of icky.
