Patrick Mahomes 'Dragging' Chiefs to Super Bowl?

The Kansas City Chiefs were able to get the win in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers, which makes them one of the two remaining undefeated teams in the NFL.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report , they put together one sentence to describe every NFL team at the quarter mark of the season. For the reigning Super Bowl champions, the sentence they come up with is less than comforting.

"Patrick Mahomes seems set on dragging this roster to a third consecutive Super Bowl regardless of how many injuries they suffer, while the defense is still figuring things out," B/R writes.

While the team is going to have a tough time the rest of the season following star wide receiver Rashee Rice's injury, it is an insult to the rest of the team to say that Mahomes will be "dragging" them to the playoffs.

In Week 4 against the Chargers, Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy were able to step up big and help the team get the win. Mahomes is off to one of the worst starts of his career, yet the team is still 4-0.

The defense has also had some guys step up and perform when the team needed them to the most, and they can only get better. While the Chiefs have had a few of their key guys go down with injuries, that does not mean the rest of the team cannot get it done.
