If you build it...they will come. The crew at New Line Skateparks never seems to stop. They just completed yet another impressive concrete paradise in Torrington, Connecticut that is just about ready to rip! It might not be the biggest park , but it sure is a thing of beauty. Take a look:

I don't know if it's the drone shot, the fresh concrete or the design itself, but this place looks so fun. It's a perfect little local nugget for the skate community in Torrington to enjoy. New Line did mention, "Please be patient as landscaping and the final touches are completed," in the caption, so if you happen to be one of the locals—hold tight for now!

It's so incredible seeing what seems to be a never ending flow of new skateparks being built across the country. Between New Line, Grindline, Dreamland, CA and the countless other design and build companies in skateboarding, there is no shortage of stoke to go around.

At the end of the day, these skateparks are so much more than just a place to skate . They're safe places for local skaters in the community to hang, learn, motivate and form friendships all the same. And even though my "local park" was just an abandoned grocery store parking lot when I was growing up, the vibe remains the same. It's a meet-up spot; a genuine hub in the local community.
