Olivia Munn is sharing a new look at her "baby girl" while also spreading awareness about breast cancer amid her own battle with the disease .

The X-Men: Apocalypse actress took to her Instagram on Wednesday (October 2) to share a sweet new photo of her daughter Méi , whom she shares with husband John Mulaney in addition to their 2-year-old son Malcolm . She announced last month that they had welcomed their second child together with a series of sweet snaps.

Munn also penned a lengthy message in honor of breast cancer awareness, a disease she knows well after being diagnosed with it in 2023 and undergoing multiple surgeries .

"This time last year I was recovering from my fourth surgery and now I'm hanging with my baby girl. 🥹💕" she captioned the pic, which features Munn smiling at the camera as she cuddles her daughter against her shoulder.

The Newsroom star opened up about her own path to being diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2023, which she first revealed earlier this year . She previously told fans that she's "doing OK" while sharing more about her cancer journey.

"Breast Cancer Awareness Month just started. Last year I was diagnosed with bilateral Luminal B breast cancer," she said. "There were many people integral to saving my life but it was my OB-GYN @drthaisaliabadi who set me on the path to survival. She used the Tyrer-Cuzick Risk Assessment Test to calculate my risk of getting breast cancer. My high score led me down a road of many tests that resulted in a cancer diagnosis."

Munn directed others who may want to examine their own risk to the test as well as her doctor's podcast SHE MD , which features Dr. Thais Aliabadi and Mary Alice Haney speaking with special guests and leading experts on women's health topics.

"The test is free, online and takes only a few minutes," she said. "To take it you can either google 'Tyrer-Cuzick Test' or you can go to Dr. Aliabadi's website SheMD.org (@shemdpodcast) and also get action items on what to do depending on your percentage of risk."

Munn concluded with a message of love and support for all who have experienced the disease, writing, "To everyone who is battling or has battled cancer, in whatever form, I send you all my love."
